This is a procedural Animated character breakdown and reform Tyflow setup. Traditionally, it has been difficult to reform a character in motion, since the position is always changing. This setup solves this problem and creates a pleasing, from bottom to top, eye-catching animation for your motion graphics project.
Ready to use, you can replace the animated character (provided) with your own and it will update automatically. It will also work with static meshes as well!
Features:
- It sports a sphere packing method to create the initial arrangement of spheres. That means no sphere will go through another and it will create a pleasing distribution. Of course, you can alter their sizes and quantities to your taste and the spheres will never interpenetrate.
- Multi material setup ready to render in Octane, but you can just change to your render engine of choice and replace the materials in order to get it ready for your particular workflow
- No keyframes needed! The whole system works almost procedurally. The only setting you need to change to make the animation longer or shorter is an operator called "Duration of the loop"
- Every time the spheres fall down and reform the character, the animation will be different, since it's using a dynamic simulation. No more repetitive animations!
- The character is reformed from bottom to top: it's a more natural and attractive motion than all particles at the same time. It almost looks like they "climb" the character. The setup gets this effect by using "Custom properties" that will be familiar if you've used Tyflow before. Otherwise... it just works!
- Ready to render on Octane, using an instance-based workflow, which means it renders super fast no matter how many particles you use. But it will also work with V-ray and Octane.
- Physically correct motion blur on all render engines that support Tyflow instancing system.
- HDR not included
- The animated character stores the motion in a Point cache modifier, the required file to make it work is also included. You will need to relink it in your file in order for the character to move.
